About the role
An established, owner-led residential builder in Boston is hiring a Senior Site Superintendent / Project Manager. You'll run 2–3 Boston projects at once, each $1M–$5M: about 60% ground-up multifamily up to roughly 15 units and about 40% full-gut renovations of historic brownstones and high-end urban homes. It's a field-first seat with PM-level responsibility, reporting directly to ownership.
What you'll do
- Lead daily site operations: sequencing, logistics, deliveries, inspections, quality and safety
- Manage subcontractors and hold them to the schedule
- Take projects from startup or demo through CO, punch list and closeout
- Keep documentation current in Procore: schedules, daily logs, RFIs, submittals and punch lists
- Handle Boston inspections, permitting coordination and tight urban logistics
- Keep ownership informed and flag risks early
What you need
- 15+ years of construction field leadership, with independent superintendent or PM responsibility
- 10+ years on projects in Boston or the surrounding urban towns
- Ground-up multifamily plus full-gut or historic renovation experience
- A record of comparable projects you led from start to finish, with references
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License and OSHA 30 expected, plus lead-safe/RRP for older buildings
- Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, Excel and Bluebeam
- A realistic daily commute to Boston job sites
What's offered
- $120,000 – $160,000 base, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus
- Vehicle allowance or company vehicle, and phone allowance or company device
- Health benefits, paid holidays and PTO
- Real autonomy and a direct line to the owner
