About the role
An outpatient orthopedic practice in the Brentwood and Antioch area of California, owned and run by a physical therapist, is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist. You can join as a staff PT or, if you're ready to lead, as the Lead PT. The practice is growing and opening new clinics.
What you'll do
- Treat 12 to 14 patients a day, mostly one-on-one, with 45 to 60 minute evaluations
- Carry a full outpatient orthopedic caseload with hands-on treatment
- Work Monday to Friday, about 40 hours a week
- Work with skilled aides in a large clinic with private treatment rooms and a full rehab gym
What you need
- A physical therapy degree (DPT, MPT or equivalent)
- An active California PT license
- For a staff seat, any setting is fine: PTs coming from home health, skilled nursing or inpatient care are trained into outpatient orthopedics, and newer PTs are welcome
- For the Lead PT seat, current outpatient orthopedic experience
- Spanish is a plus, not a requirement
What's offered
- $52 to $70 per hour depending on experience; $70 per hour is the Lead PT rate
- $5,000 sign-on bonus, tied to a retention agreement
- Annual performance bonus of up to $15,000, based on quarterly reviews
- Medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO and paid sick leave
- Continuing education support and mentoring from experienced orthopedic PTs
- A path to senior and lead roles as new clinics open
