Drum, Loyka & Associates is a civil engineering and land surveying firm in Annapolis, Maryland. The team of about 23 works throughout the state, and the firm is hiring a Director of Land Survey to take over and run its land survey department.

The firm has a strong reputation and strong growth potential. The survey department already has a seasoned, experienced team, and this role takes full ownership of it.

What you'll do

• Run the land survey department, about 80% of the job: field crews and office workflow
• Review the department's land surveys and keep the technical work strong across all projects
• Drive business development and bring in survey work, about 20% of the job

What you need

• Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in Maryland at hire
• Experience leading survey work: running crews and reviewing other people's surveys
• Comfort with business development
• Able to work full-time, on-site in Annapolis
